Jarmo,
                >>I have a strong feeling that instead of making any changes
to equipment we
should give instructions to user how to clean our products (with
damp towel,
not with duster).

Be careful about engineering equipment this way. If I take a race
car out to the drag strip and break an axle because I accelerated too hard.
And if the engineer of the race car tells me not to push the gas pedal down
so hard. I'll tell him to "go to hell" and I'll get a different race car.
The axle should be re-engineered to sustain the abuse I'm going to put it
through.
The same goes for any piece of equipment. If I have to lock that
piece of equipment up in a special room to make sure no-one inadvertently
touches it in the wrong way, you better hope that you have no competition,
or your competition is in the same predicament. (an EDX, or SEM machine are
good examples). Otherwise, I will buy the equipment that will not easily
get damaged.
I won't pretend that dusting any piece of electronic equipment with
a duster is acceptable, but it does and will happen every now and then.
I do believe the 70KV by the way. At 20% relative humidity during
the winter here in the desert, I get shocked every time I hop out of my car.

regards

Ryan G.
