So far as I recall the original "red Jelly" flux was made by Fry way back when and was, possibly
still is, basically a heat stabilised RMA+/RA- resin. Although originally a non electronic
material it was then pretty good especially for things like high lead alloys, but I would think
that modern tack (paste) fluxes are equivalent. Multicore may have resurrected this product or
it could be an entirely novel development. Perhaps they will
let us know?
