Hi Virgil,

I have seen people using nitrogen to prevent heavy drossing in production.
That should also give a better wetting characteristics, especially at the
higher reflow environment. The nitrogen is said to pay off just in terms of
solder alloy loss due to drossing. Your big plus is then a gain in quality,
e.g. savings on rework/repair.
