A questionaire will be sent to all official reps, and all members of the 6000
series
documents 6012, 6013 etc.

The question is do you want to do away with 600 and incorporate the photos
into
the respective documents.

We all acknowledge that we could come up with a way to do this, BUT DO WE
WANT TO STRIP INSPECTORS OF 600?

As far as being thought through - no the question has just been asked.  Some
of
the theory is that since the requirements in each are so close now, we could
save
duplication of effort in working on both for each of the board specs.  Alsoi
since
600 is misused by people referencing it on drawings instead of 6012, we could
prevent that by eliminating the document.

I would just encourage all to think about the matter and respond to the
survey when they get it
