I would also reccomend Total Quality Control by Armand
V. Feigenbaum as one reference and the CQE primer
published by the Indiana Qualit Council (I think thats
publisher).

Cp Cpk are essentially scores based on how repeatable
and accurate your placements are. For placement
equipment you would run a glass master or equivalent
for your particular machine and you measure how
precise each placement is.

In the past at another company we bought Universal
machines and they provided us with the Cp/Cpk scores.
Your vendor if its not Universal should be able to do
the same.
