The next meeting of the Houston IPC designer's council will be May 9, 2000.

The topic of this meeting will be:
" Board Materials - What, Why, and How"
Presented jointly by John Dobrick, Senior Applications Engineer for Rogers
Corp. and Lynn Kahler, Field Applications Engineer for Merix Corp.
John and Lynn will talk about WHAT is available for use in the
fabrication of boards, WHY a material is better suited to a given
application, and HOW to know the way to specify the correct material to the
fabricator.
Materials for High Speed, RF, and High Temperature will be
presented. We will learn how to make an appropriate choice and have an
opportunity to learn from two of the Experts and be able to follow up with
questions beyond the meeting.
Please plan on taking the time to attend this meeting. It promises
to be informative, concise, valuable, and a chance to network with
specialists willing to help us move into the future of board design.
