Rich - I would suggest you consider the following to meet your customer's
requirements: (1) I would go to about 35 microinches or more of Gold over
100 microinches of Nickel. The higher Gold thickness would be to eliminate
any Gold porosity over the Nickel. (2) Coat the contacts with a preservative
& lubricant such as ProGold or Deoxit from Caig Labs www.caig.com . (3) Seal
the units in zip-lock ESD bags like you would get from Static Control
Components www.scc-inc.com . Ed/
