Ken,
        You can also try ANSI Y32.2 - 1975 (AKA IEEE Std 315 - 1975). The
standard is Graphic Symbols for Electrical and Electronics Diagrams
(Including Reference Designation Class Designation Letters). As far as I
know, it's still valid.
