Technetters

Has anyone had any experience - either good or bad, with solderpasting and
reflowing of RIST 2.5 (or smilar) edge connectors?

The reason I ask is that our designers have designed a single sided PCB for
Reflow soldering. From a cost point of view they would prefer an OSP finish
to HASL therefore we must provide a soldered finish to the edge connectors
with solderpaste.

Before I begin to organise trials I would appreciate hearing from any of you
who may have un/successfully gone down this path.

best regards

Thornton White
