I know contact lubricant requirements are/were found in the Bellcore specs.
Sorry I can't point you to the exact chapter and verse. Connector
manufacturers would be a good source of info on lubricants and requirements
(I know AMP had quite a bit of data on lubricants at one time). As for
putting this type of requirement into a product spec, I think you'd need to
consider it on a case-by-case basis.

Two lubricant vendors I've used for different applications are Nye
Lubricants (http://www.nyelubricants.com/) and Caig Laboratories
(http://www.caig.com/). Talk to them abotu differnt formulations.
