The stencils work beautifully. We rarely print under 15 mils, but sometimes we do. Stencil thicknesses that we use vary from 5 to 8 mils. Plus, a side note, we ordered a stencil on Thursday and it was here afternoon Friday. Very fast turnaround.
As far as comparisons to brass, I've never used brass stencils. But they stomp all over stainless. It's one of those times when you ask yourself "why didn't I think of that?"
