  I had a similar problem in the past when I was reflowing one connector
used to plug phone line ( Ethernet card ). The problem was related with
shadow effect caused inside our IR oven, the temperature at connector were
about 196 Celsius degree giving us no satisfactory results, we had to change
the line that we were running for other with convection reflow oven.
  Shadow effect is associated with the high of the component and is found at
IR oven, to easy understand the situation you can make association with the
sun light at a building, the side that exposed to sun light is hotter than
the side is located at the shadow. The better you could do is measure the
temperature at terminals and check if they are inside the normal range ( 210
=/- 5 oC ). Convection oven are better for this kind of situation because
the temperature is more consistent across the board due the hot air movement
on the surface of board.
