As a general rule 1 uS-cm is just fine. I have many customers who change their mixed bed columns at between 1 and 5, even for very hi-tech stuff. Of course, a lot depends on the application, the type of assembly and the
drying process (you can tolerate a higher conductivity if you rotary air-knife rather than evaporate).
