Hey Richard!
I don't know if you've checked the TechNet archives yet, but I just did and
there's some good emails and discussion that go back to 1997 about part
numbering systems. Go to the archives and do a search with the words; "part
numbering systems"...I got 26 hits and like I said, there's some good ideas
there...
