Greetings all,

Back in September there was a discussion on the various part numbering
systems everyone was using.

Does anyone know if any organization 'out there' had/has established a norm
or standard for such activity? One of my co-horts seems to remember
something a while back but can't put his hand on what/who/where it was. Any
feedback would be appreciated.

By the way, has anyone set up a numbering system and wished they had done
something different????

Thanks!
