For FR4 boards we use a Westek inline water cleaner with Kyzen Aquanox in
it. Getting flux out of ceramic boards is tough especially if it is baked or
heated in. I saw a demonstration once at EMC in Doylestown,PA in which we
tried to clead bake on RMA flux out of a ceramic PWA. We tried hot
saponifier, and aquanox spray but the absorbed flux did not completely come
out. What did the trick was hot alcohol spray. The board came out of the
chamber pure white.

Could anyone tell me the most effective way of cleaning RMA-flux on
FR4-boards as well as ceramic substrates. Both inline and batch cleaning is
of interest. 
Component stand-off is 0.04mm in some cases and micro-BGA:s are soon in the
production line.
