For placement side only. inner and opposite side shouldn't matter.

(Unless your doing buried resistance?, I don't know)

As for the micro bga I would still keep .200 if possible. I realize this defeats
the purpose of the device, but it depends on your mfg. floor and inspection.
If your doing it 1st time around and can afford the room, take all you can.

Just let you engineer know that if they need to make an cut and jumper, it's
gonna be painful.

And does he REALLY need a uBGA? By the time your done, you could have used the
standard package in the same amt. of space.
