I would like to know how does your US industry cope with one of the laws
of the State of California, Proposition 65 (Health & safety code sec.
25249.6).
Are you required to submit huge papers?

Some OEMs in Japan, who intend to export their product to the US are
requested to submit detailed document on their product, for each
components, to prove "They are safe!".

Don't you think it very difficult to prove it supposing that a baby may
suck power cable used to connect a computer to power outlet?
(Although it is easy to put warning like "Some content in this cable
jacket may cause damage for your health")

Any suggestions to cure Japanese industry's headache would be
appreciated.
