Ken,
Be careful. You can make a lot of scarp parts in a hurry.  two 100 pin
connector will not make one 200 pin connector. Take a good look at the 200
pin connector matimg part as to how it mates with the original single body
connector. Then comapre it with TWO 100 pin connector equivalent. Will it
still mate properly? There is some polarizatrion built into connector bodies
for proper mating. I will be curious to know your analysis. ( Note- this is
from experience, an IBM subsidiary line was shut down due to a connector
problem. On my analysis, I found some engineer has modified the polarising
part of the connector body for hot plugging where a mating part has to mate
with two in line connectors. )
