Inert anode in acid copper plating refers to an insoluble anode. Usuaully
made of a titanium alloy. If an inert anode is used for plating, copper
replenishment is necessary as plating proceeds. This may be acheived thru
desolution of copper or coppr oxide external to the plating cell.
These types of anodes are common in horizontal conveyorized plating equipment.
Hope this helps.
