We use Microsoft Project to track workload and commitment dates.
Attached is an example of our schedule.
Hope this helps,

Subject: [DC] [Misc] Microsoft Project department tracking?
Hi All,
Does anyone have a department tracking sheet set up in Microsoft Project
they could lend me? We've been running by the seat of our pants lately,
and many projects are set to hit us, so I'd like to set up a tracking
schedule vs. personnel, and I don't feel like creating one out of the
blue.
Any help is appreciated.
TIA.
Mitch
