        Technetters,

Need some help from all the Technetters out there, on specific ways of
reporting data in defect management systems. We are implementing the SAP
"QM" module and this issue has been raised and I need to address it for the
implementation team. To what level of detail do you(technetters) put
reference designations for Chassis level assembly. For example, a screw is
not tightened to specification. How are you recording that defect in your
tracking systems? Just stating a piece of hardware is loose or are you going
to the detail to identify every piece of hardware noted on a BOM and
assigning a unique identifier or "WHAT?" All experiences and suggestions
will be appreciated. Please respond either personally or through Technet.

Thanks
Carl Barnes
