Hi Graham! Just one word of caution - you will want to insure that the HASL
stripping process does not predispose your B25A coupons to fail due to process
contamination. I had this problem (once) despite taking what I thought were
sufficient measures to remove any stripping chemistry residues from the coupons.
I also believe that Doug Pauls ([log in to unmask]) has had the pleasure of
experiencing this type of latent test results impact multiple times on some of
his testing efforts (I don't mean to imply that Doug didn't learn his lesson the
first time!). The B25A coupons will cost some $$ to replace but that is a small
cost in comparison to having to re-run a testing sequence. Good Luck.

Subject: [TN] Removing HASL
Morning Techies
Houston - we have a problem!
I wonder if anyone has any ideas about removing HASL from B25A coupons. Someone
here goofed and ordered our test coupons with HASL instead of bare copper - you
can't get the staff you know!
So, as it will take some time - and money! - to get these replaced I thought I
would put this to the experts.
Awaiting your assistance......
Regards,
Graham Naisbitt
