The Interconnection Technology Research Institute (ITRI) group of IPC has run
several round robin tests of microvias, including daisy chains of 200
successive vias. The reports are available from ITRI at

11801 Stonehollow Drive, Suite 400
Austin, TX 78753-3263
Phone 512-833-9930

Marshall Andrews or Jack Fischer at ITRI can tell you if the artwork (derived
from a Motorola test pattern) is copyrighted or can be licensed. We at
MacDermid found that we needed a chain of 2000 successive vias to be more
confident about our process conditions.

line/space, layer registration, and microvias. Their recent e-mail stated:

from Conductor Analysis Technologies, Inc., is now available from our web
page at: http://biz.swcp.com/cat

Description: Process capability and quality must be achieved before
performing reliability studies.
