I was trying to state, before my computer decided to send, that the
ANSI/ESD-S20.20 provides a program to protect equipment susceptible to
damage by Electrostatic discharges greater than 100 volts Human Body Model.
Ionization is used as a supplement to an effective ESD program, when
required.
You can contact me at 847-259-9600 X-6764 if you have further questions.

Subject: [TN] ESD Susceptability
Techneter's
I have a component that is susceptable to ESD damage @ 800v. Do I need to
have ionized air to process this component? How does the rest of the world
handle susceptable parts at this level? What is the ESD standard that has
replaced Mil-P-1686.
Thanks
