All,

Here's one that the manufacturer couldn't help with.....

We have a pre-Unix (old) MyData TP9 that we have been using for some time and
have developed a new problem with. When using the 'Install' program to edit the
package list (in this instance adding some BGA's) the display produces about 1
1/2 lines of odd characters and double displays the regular data (double image)
- one image in the upper left, the other in the lower right. This problem only
happens when the machine is booted with the 'install' disk. The regular boot
and support disks work fine. This problem is similar to one we had last year,
but we had to replace the CPU to correct the problem. In that instance, the
machine would not function at all.
The 3 different technicians I talked to at MyData suggested that the floppy disk
was too full. I have created new ones and it still exhibits the same problem.
I have also re-seated the CPU with no change.

Any insight into this problem?

Thanks
