IPC-DRM-18 Component Identification Desk Reference Manual is a good start, as Kathy mentions.  It's a compilation of terms referenced by other industry standards.  jack

You may want to look at the IPC Component ID booklet.  They are relatively
inexpensive and can be distributed easily.  It's a great tool - I've placed
them all over our facility.
