Sorry to oppose to your statement. Only a few SM components are lead-free, i.e ceramic multilayer capacitors have pure tin, and not even all brands. Most of the SMCs, leadless as well as leaded, have an SnPb top finish (Pb concentration between 5 and 40 
mass %), if they have no noble metal finish like Au, Pd or AgPd (preferably Ag:Pd = 2:1).

Please excuse the flippancy about a serious enquiry, but I can't resist it - sorry!
All SM components are lead-free: they don't have wires to go through holes!  :-)
And will you attach your leads to the SM components to make them through-hole ?  :-)
