I ran into the same thing a couple years ago. I found a spec sheet (from
Panasonic I believe) that showed a case B and a case B2. The B2 size matched
the "old" B case, now IPC standard CT3528. The case B dimensions did not
match any standard tantalums but I can't remember if it was slightly smaller
or slightly larger compared to the B2.
