Another new material which is just meeting UL approval
for some vendors is N6000-21 by Nelco which ranges from
2 to 10 ghz and is presently being used in backplanes by
Litton.

Subject: [DC] High-Speed Materials
We are currently researching materials that will handle high-speed circuits
(over 1 ghz) better than the current FR4 that we've been using. We've talked
to our fab vendors and they are recommending alternatives such as Getek,
Tetra 2, and Rogers 4350. Now I'd like to hear from the end users. Has
anyone out there gone through a similar transition? What were your
experiences with the more costly materials? Any input would be greatly
appreciated.
