FWIW: My home WinDoze 95 system does the same thing when I have the "Display
icons in all possible colors" turned on.  If I uncheck this option, the
shutdown works properly.

My system hang when I have closed all application for the day and done a
shut down to the system. The system just hang at " waitiing for system to
shut down"
( the screen with the blue cloudys )
