Creizzy people, can you never be serious? I'm now member of Whiners Club and will complain about the net culture here. Myself joking? Never. At least not so often. Now, as I have recently had that question, I can tell you why beer is sucked up in CERTAIN PIs (not all, PI can be modified). The reason is very easy to understand. If a piece of PI is exposed to water or beer (or other water solutions)the water molecules will pentetrate between the PI molecular chains. They are not space orientated in such a way that water sees a homogenous wall, but instead long labyrints with weak and few bindings. In reality, Kapton, one of many PIs, can absorb as much as 4% water and 3% Guiness. If you want less hydrofobi, you can look for modified PIs. A way to avoid the whole problem is to use dried water.
