GOOD MORNING TECHNETTERS,
Having been the initiator for this round of discussion on the above subject, and
having been warned by at least one other TechNetter, I can truly say that I have
been swamped with some very comprehensive info from many resources on this
subject. However, even though I am still trying to sort out the best approach
to proceed with, I would appreciate the opportunity to expand the context of my
original question to include in the following aspect. What is the best
cleaning solvent to use which satisfies the intent of my original question but
relates more specifically to "bench top cleaning of assemblies after the
soldering connections have been performed using RMA Kester 185 or 186 flux?"
Recognizing that there is a wide spectrum of products to choose from I would
like to known what the experts consider the best to use and why? I fully
realize that this maybe a difficult absolute goal to achieve but nevertheless,
the goal reminds me of the snail, who without perseverance would never have
reached the ark. Have a great day, and best regards, Faz.
