I am trying to get a rework station to remove thru. hole components.
The equipment I am getting should able to control the time and the
temperature during the removal process. ( hopefully it can clean up the
barrel as well after the solder is removed.)
Currently I am looking into the Air-Vac rework station. Anyone has good
or bad experience with their equipment? What other vendors would you
suggest me to search for before I make the deal with Air-Vac. Thanks.

Hi Rudolph!
I've used Air-Vac's PCBRM12 for many years and it's always done the job.
You'll need to accumulate various nozzles for it so you'll be covered in all
situations, but the machine works great! The machine will clear the barrels
with the little rubber hood that you put over the footprint after you remove
the part (but you have to get it over the footprint quick) it blows a puff of
compressed air clearing the holes.
