J-F, We have been using the configuration as shown in Figure 6-5C of
J-STD-001B for over 25 years and consider it to be the most reliable of all
swaged terminal configurations for space and ground equipment.

We use post terminals for test points. Is it necessary
to swaged them as shown in the mechanical assy section
of IPC-A-610? Does anyone use them without swaging them
but just soldering?
