Hello,

I also have an interest in this discussion, as a PCB designer trying to
provide 100% flying probe test access for our boards.
Am I understanding you correctly in that it is possible to hit pads only
0.001" square?!!
If this is really the case, then our local testers need to get their act
together. Trying to provide 0.032" test pads on a dense design using 5/5
technology and 1mm pitch BGA's is a pain.:(
