Theory of Constraints is a Methodology for Manufacturing Processes . . . per
se . . . a few years ago you first heard of JIT, then along came Continuous
Flow Manufacturing, and then Theory of Constraints.

Eli Goldratt . . . pardon me if I misspelled the name . . . is the
founder/author/trainer/etc., and the process/procedure has a lot of merit.

Jeff Cox also assisted in the writing of a book called "The Goal", which
explains to some degree Theory of Constraints.  The book is excellent
reading, entertaining,  and worth while reading I might add.  Great insights
on production processes.  Get the book, and you will get access to the rest
of the information including seminars that Eli Goldratt puts on, or at least
did hold in the past.
