Hello Guys/Gals,
This may sound "basic" but... what is the basis for having peel strength
values in a range i.e. 10 to 100 grams-force, 10-130 gm-force. A customer once
mentioned that they use the upper values of the specified range to prevent
unreeling during shipment and handling. A colleague argues that we should stick
to values close to the average of the range. Which is which??? Are SMT auto
placement machines anyway affected by how "tightly" or "loosely" components are
sealed in the reels?
Anyone out there with an answer, sure could use your input....

Marc
