The circuit boards that operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging
equipment operate in magnetic fields capable of sucking any two-ton
fork-lift that happens to wander nearby. The boards utilize ordinary
integrated circuits and discrete components, so long as they are made
from non-magnetic materials.
