Chris -

"Full turnkey" means that the fabrication/assembly contractor has total
responsibility for the product from materials acquisition thru delivery.
"Partial turnkey" would imply that the customer plays some active roll in
this arena.

"Box build" means that the assembler has the capability to assemble, test
and deliver finished goods, such as a computer system, IV monitor, sattelite
TV receiver, etc. Most of the slick new PC's and sattelite dish systems you
see boxed up at your local retailer or discount house were shipped directly
to point of sale by a contract manufacturer, on behalf of the listed OEM,
and have never seen the inside of the OEM's facilities. The term board
build or card build would apply to a manufacturer who produced only the
circuit cards. In most cases, the larger contract manufacturers have both
capabilities, as well as product design and development capability.

Regards - Kelly
