Subject: Invoking of IPC–9853 draft proposal



Dear colleagues,



It is come to our attention that there have been instances of companies trying to invoke requirements of the draft proposal IPC–9853, Specification for Reflow Oven Characterization and Verification.  This document is still not complete and we fully expect that it will be modified based on input received from general industry comment that is currently underway.



It is IPC's position that it is inappropriate for companies to be invoking IPC-9853 proposal at this time. IPC strongly encourages companies not to do this and requests that companies review the draft with their customers and submit comments to IPC.  With industry feedback we hope to complete the document as soon as possible.

尊敬的IPC5-45CN成员：



最近有消息证实某些公司尝试引用尚在提案草案阶段的IPC-9853标准内的要求（热风再流焊系统特征描述及验证规范）。该文件目前仍在审议过程中，在IPC标准化原则的框架下，广泛征求业界意见，根据反馈修订为最终出版的IPC文件。



特此声明IPC的立场：引用未正式颁布的IPC-9853草案稿是不妥的。IPC强烈号召业界不要引用标准草案稿，而是将草案稿推荐给更多的公司请他们参与审议，把他们的意见反馈给IPC。我们希望在业界的积极参与和支持下，这个文件会尽快公布。
