   From past experiences,  I found that two of the major Si adhesive producers 
both had "left over" monomers in theior adhesives, and gels, even when fully 
cured, Unless the manufacturers make their product truely stochiometric, there 
will be something free to float about in the product case. When I quizzed them 
about this, and asked for weight loss data etc, they both promised the stuff, 
and then went mysteriously quiet.  I guess some of the more polymer oriented 
folks on TN will be able to help more!!

Hello!
     
What is the stat of the art regarding silicon adhesives and any silicon products
in the electronics industry?
Our company has a strong restriction against any silicon. Has the adhesives etc 
improved so that no monomers etc can evaporate?
