I also agree with this procedure.

There is an option with many e-mail programs that when replying or
forwarding, the original e-mail is attached. With Outlook, this is found
under Tools/Options/E-mail Options. I use the option to "Include original
text".

I agree Carey.  I auto-delete all e-mail that contains just an
attachment and I won't open the attachments even when there is text in
the e-mail message.  I don't think somebody's opinion is worth the risk.
