I can offer some generalities regarding conductive adhesives.

At a previous job I used conductive adhesives instead of solder very
successfully. But they are not best for every application. The adhesives are
weaker and less conductive when compared to solder. I tested materials from
Ablestic and Amicon and found both acceptable. I also tested material from
Epoxy Technology (Epo-Tek) and found it didn't meet some specific needs, but
could work for many other applications.

The application was assembly of thick film and thin film hybrid assemblies.
We used silver loaded epoxy based adhesives. We had problems with some
devices fracturing while using solder. The adhesive had more flex and
eliminated the problem. We also found that a thin adhesive layer (1-2 mil)
did not create electrical issues even with microwave circuitry.

I recommend you talk to Amicon, Ablestik, and Epo-Tek.

Subject: Des:Pb-Free solder etc

Hi To All !
Does anyone know about "Pb-Free solder"?
Does anyone know about "Pb regulation"?
Does anyone know about "Conductive Adhesives"?
Thank you for your help in advance.
