Have not heard of any moves to disallow, or limit uses of PVC in equipment.
  There is, in the US, some people who are actually trying to limit or
prohibit use of ANY organo-chlorine compounds, but then there are people who
believe the earth is flat too...

At any rate the idea is pretty ludicrous, but even if it were to happen, we
could switch to polypropylene, which is not that much more expensive, and
generally a superior material for PCB fabrication equipment anyway, if only
because it can deal with higher temperatures.
