I've been a little disappointed with the PC Fab Net to date. I thought
the anonymous nature of the PC Fab Net would encourage everyone to
open up and move the industry collectively forward. The reality seems
to be that it just provides cover for unprofessional communications.

Perhaps I'm spoiled by the high quality of the interactions on the IPC
TechNet. It's like being able to personally attend an open industry
forum every day from my desk. The TechNet's proven to be very open and
professional. I suppose there's something about putting your
reputation on the line that pushes things to a higher level.
