What are you looking to check,
        A. Dimensional accuracy of drill machine
        B. Hole quality
        C. Wander thru a stack

A. Generally you can drill an X pattern in 1 inch increments accross a panel
and check accuracy of movement.

B.  Use a 100 hole grid (.100" centers) and step that grid so that you can
accumalte holes past your desired hit count.  Serpentine the drill pattern
so that you can follow the count systematiclly. You can then section holes
at some increment to check the hole quality as the hits increase.

C.   Measure the location of key holes in the 100 hole grids (section B) in
the top of the top panel and the bottom of the bottom panel.
