We have used the nitric acid vapor test (ASTM B-735-89) for several
years. It it is very simple to perform and has served us well.

We are a printed circuit board manufacturer and have been testing gold
porosity on contact fingers with the Electrographic Paper test per Bellcore
TR-NWT-0000078, paragraph 14.2.2.1 for many years. Our supplier for the
electrographic paper (Dyntronix) is going to discontinue selling the Nioxime
paper because the manufacturer is not going to make it anymore. Is anyone
else using this test method? If so, is there another supplier of this paper?
If not, what method are you using? Bellcore also allows electrographic gel or
a corrosive gas test (typically nitric vapor). Any info is appreciated.
