Werner,

The new "bumper to bumper" 10 year/100,00 mile warranties include electronic equipment.
This combined with increasing overseas outsourcing (to the lowest bidder) can raise some
interesting questions for both designs and some what on quality.

Testing is almost completely focused on "infant mortality" issues so the only choice is to
"throw it over the wall" and see what breaks! This can lead to strange and expensive results.
