We currently HASL before nomen, but our technicians have made comments
that sometimes the nomen interferes with inspection. If it is a busy
board with lots of nomen, the white patterns can act as a camouflage to
the defect. The eyeball can't seem to process the information it is
receiving.

Subject: Idents before or after HASL

What is the most common practice:

Silkscreen idents before or after HASL?

I would appreciate any comments on this.

thanks -
